What's in Each Record
- source
- Origin marketplace. Always
domainworld for now — designed so future records from other marketplaces can ride alongside.
- item_type
domain for a single name, group for a bundle of related names.
- domain
- The domain name (or group name).
- price
- Asking price in USD, or null for offer-only listings.
- category
- tech, business, lifestyle, finance, health, or education.
- listed_date
- When the listing went live (YYYY-MM-DD).
- has_auction
- True if the domain is in an active auction.
- parking_url
- If parked, the live parking page on the domain's own TLD. Null otherwise.
- buy_url
- Direct link to buy-it-now on DomainWorld.com.
- contact_url
- Click-to-email the seller directly. No login required for the buyer to send the first message.
- agents_welcome
- True if the seller welcomes broker referrals. See agent_terms for commission details.
- agent_terms
- Plain-text commission/finder's fee terms when agents_welcome is true.
- direct_contact_available
- Always true — every domain has a direct buyer-to-seller email channel.
- group_members
- For group items only — array of domain names included in the bundle.
Why We're Doing This
- The owner owns the domain. We don't. So we have no claim to gate access to that fact.
- Discovery should be open. The harder it is to find a domain, the slower it sells.
- Promoters earn their margin. If you embed our list, charge what you want, take a finder's fee, run an ad — we don't track and don't share in it.
- No partner approval, no keys. You don't need permission to use this. You're already approved.
- Future-friendly schema. The
source field exists so this feed can homogenize inventory across marketplaces. Today it's us. Tomorrow it could be everyone who joins.
Rate Limits
Be reasonable. Cache the feed on your end if you call it often — we already cache for 30 minutes, so calling more frequently than that gains you nothing. Excessive request rates from a single IP will be throttled at the network layer. There's no key to ban; just slow down.
Want to Embed Instead?
If pulling a feed is more than you want to deal with, we offer copy-paste widgets — small iframes that show live inventory on your site. No code beyond a single tag.
